Ultra Light Packing - The perfect packing guide for me

Packing is I guess the most stressful part for your freaking time and mine. But it is also pretty exciting because that means your flight is only a couple of hours away. Now I used to start my backpacking tours with a 50L backpack. Then went down to 40L and now I am at 30L.  The reason why? Because I don't want to over pack and neither should you. It gives you more freedom on your travels, you can use it as hand luggage and don't need to check in. Which also means no queuing at the check-in counter and less time to spend at the airport.

I have the ultimate light packing list for you. Packing is all about flexibility and packing things that go with each other.

Don't take that one special shirt that only goes with that one special pair of jeans you have. Or those one pair of shoes that only go with that dress.

That's not what it is about. And that's not how it works. You only have that limited space so you have got to make the most of it. And I guess you want to go and buy some cheap market shirt in Thailand too right?

Well you cannot do that once you have fully packed that stupid backpack of your.

So let me show you what I pack for you to get the ultimate freedom and best experience.

You can thank me later!

1 x Toothbrush

1 x Toothpaste

1 x comb (it is small and can fit anywhere)

1 x 2in1 Shampoo and Conditioner (You can bring shampoo and conditioner but sometimes it is cheaper buying it at your destination as it can be cheaper.)

3 x Black Tops

3 x White Tops

2 Pair of Jeans

2 Pair of Shorts

2 x Bikini (if you go somewhere hot)

1 "Gypsie" Skirt (I love them, they are flowy, go with any top and work with flip flops and sandales)

1 Pair of Flip Flops or Sandales

1 Pair of Sneakers (White or Black as it goes with anything)

7 Pairs of Underwear

3 Pairs of Socks

Laptop + Hard drive

Portable charger

Adapters (Multi-universal or whatever you wanna call it)

Sometimes I have a tent with me, depending on the kind of trip I want to do.

This is basically all you need. Of course not everyone of you needs a laptop and that but I need it so I can write this awful posts for you.

So now you can either use it as it is, or define things yourself.

But yes you can see, you should always take basic things in basic colors so you can combine them.

That's the word: COMBINATION IS THE KEY!
